What does NLP Stand For ?
NLP is an abbreviation of the Body Mind System Technology we call Neuro Linguistic Programming.

What on Earth does That Mean ?
The Technical Explanation -
Neuro Linguistic Programming is a set of Models, Techniques, Patterns and Presuppositions that are constantly evolving (Changing and being improved and adjusted).
The Philosophy of NLP is that it is the structure of Subjective Experience and many of these being observation - Based Behavior and Communication. Which Result in Quick and Lasting Change.

The Simplified Explanation -
NLP is a combination of Ideas, Patterns and Techniques which are experiential and subjective to each unique person and experience.
We as practitioners apply to the premise that mind and body work as one system and much of this can be discovered through observing language patterns and  Communication processing preferences which help us to Identify the way each person experiences the world.

To some degree many of us Generalizes, Distorts or Deletes meaning from each experience.
We Observe this information to learn which current patterns are useful and result in positive and productive Behavioural Patterns.
When Behavior is not  deemed useful now, (although may have been in the beginning) we use a variety of Techniques to understand where each person would like to be and create an interactive blue print to get them there very easily and at a very secure unconscious level.
Thus the programming aspect of NLP.

What does NLP have to do with Hypnosis ?
NLP was originally influenced very strongly by Famous Hypnotist and Therapist Milton Erickson, by Modeling the way he elegantly patterned Linguistic suggestions and Rapport in the facilitation of change within his clients.

NLP includes his effective Techniques in its Applications, specifically "Milton Model Language" which may also be used for Effective, Lasting Change in Ericksonian Hypnosis.

Can NLP Be Effective with Everyone ?
NLP can be effective with any person who is at a point of Wonton, Deep desire to succeed at changing oneself.

When does NLP not work?
Because NLP is not something we do to you, it is  a tool we as practitioners use to Interactively create change within you.
You ultimately make the changes within yourself when you are ready, we work with you to achieve the most excellent result.
Like any unused tool NLP will not work for people who are incongruent and not really ready for effective change yet.
For example: if you would like to go on a diet well wishers can buy you a Gym pass and a new wardrobe to hope it will motivate you into action.
If for some reason you are not ready yet to loose weight those perceived motivators will sit redundant and unused until you are ready to put them into action.

Can NLP be used for persuasion and Influence ?
Yes, NLP is extremely useful to work toward an Ethically, ecologically sound process of Win Win.
Many Sales professionals and Negotiators do very well in their career when becoming skillful at Mastering NLP.
